Ridding in the late afternoon seems to be the best here. Hotter than H--l during the day and raining after dark. can only get in two or 3 hours but it's still good.

Hi ya'll, new rider here. I have only been riding 7 months, I own a Kawasaki Vulcan Drifter and I absolutely love it. We are from Oklahoma and love to ride and look and cool sites, go to a few bike rallies, and meet new folkes. My husband attend East Central University at Ada Oklahoma and we are having a bike show Sept. 18-19 Check out our Facebook group Motorcycle Art Expo for all of the details. Glad to meet ya'll!

Glad to see this forum. Just discovered it. My current bike is a 99 Nomad, but have had a variety over the last 32 years of riding. Always looking for a reason to ride. I'll be looking to replace my ride in about 2 years, just because that's what I usually do :-) Not sure what the next one will be, but will probably still be a cruiser - although I like customs too. Maybe I need 2 rides!

When my sons rode with me across the country I had 3 different Goldwings and pulled a trailer with our camping gear. For riding two up and pulling a trailer, it was hard to beat. Now I'm riding solo and love my 2010 Concours ! I also have a 2006 KLR650 for those on/off road camping trips.

I guess I should mention I ride an '03 Vulcan 1600 Classic. Boss Bags saddlebags, driver's backrest, rail grips by Pro-One accessories, matching hi-way pegs from JC Whitney, iPod mount from Leader Motorcycle. It's very comfy now.
